You can not fault this restaurant in any way. The food is divine. What I like even more is that the chef grows vegetables that he uses in the menu and he pays just as much attention to the vegetables in his dishes as he does to the meat. The staff are just wonderful as well, welcoming without being overbearing. If I could eat here every night I would have a standing reservation.

Unassuming exterior hides a gem inside and weren't not just referring to Sonja (a wonderful waitress), this old charm building hosted a chef who knows how to cook! We enjoyed the oysters, blue cod and finished with a dessert. All this enjoyment was topped with Sonya's delightful hard working, smiling presence. If we were locals, we would dine here weekly!

Great food and our server was amazing. How she managed a table of nine without writing anything down is beyond me. Yes the decor leads a lot to be desired but the food makes up for it.

Excellent hosts. Met by the chef and outstanding service by his wife. The best place to dine in Invercargill .Food was to die for. Our party of eight had a great night and we will return. Top notch19 Feb 2025.

An absolutely amazing dining experience.Can not rate them highly enough.We were greeted by the chef.Started with a cocktail each. AMAZING, SO TASTY!Ordered our meals, given great a recommendation of accompanying wines. SUPERB!The fresh produce was from their private garden.The meals were all prepared, cooked and presented to perfection.Finished with a Dessert wine, and a coffee.A perfect time spaced between each course.Thank you for making us feel so special on our NZ honeymoon.

Invercargill's best kept fine dining secret. 5 starts are not enough to express my delight with the food, service, and atmosphere. This place consistently delivers good food, great service, and a nice, quiet atmosphere.
